As the year draws to a close....

Anyone who knows me well knows that I am pretty spontaneous.  At age of three, I asked my mother if my dad could get me a $1,000,000 loan so that I could venture to Africa.  While I am not heading to Africa this summer, I do have a quite a few other adventures awaiting me.

However, before I get to that point, there are a few things I need to get through:
- A few projects, probably all French.
- 5 finals
- A few tours
- Many friends graduating
....piece of cake.

So, once all of those things are out of the way, this is what one can expect to read on my blog:

1) MY FIRST CRUISE
Yes, folks, this is my very first cruise, and I am quite thrilled.  While boarding a plane back to South Carolina after Spring Break, I got a call from a friend about going on a cruise.  Without any thought at all, I immediately said yes.  Thirty seconds later, the cruise was booked.  We will be leaving from Miami and heading to the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and Turks and Caicos, and then spending a few nights in Miami once we get back to the states, most likely in a depressed stupor.

2) BANJO-B-QUE
My one last hoorah in Augusta, GA with one of my very best friends before she heads to law school in Flo-rida.  Bustin out my inner redneck, aaayo!

3) ROADTRIP WITH MY DAD
We will be venturing from South Carolina up to Delaware for the wedding of a family friend with whom I grew up. My feelings?
A) That's awesome because I love me some weddings, especially when it's someone I love;
B) ...it's weird when my friends get married.
C) Holla at some Delaware.

and then, the beast of a trip I've been waiting for since March 2010.....

4) IRELAND
I will be spending about 7 weeks in Ireland this summer thanks to the Univeristy Studies Abroad Consortium (and a little thanks to USC's study abroad office...... no comment.), and I am absolutely thrilled.  I spent two weeks in Limerick in March 2010 visiting a friend and absolutely fell in love with the country.  I am headed back to Galway this summer, and saying that I'm stoked is an understatement.  The first 5 weeks or so I will be taking classes, and then my parents are coming over and we'll be raging in a rental car.

The reason I am writing this blog is that I was selected to be one of the study abroad bloggers for the University of South Carolina - holla atchyo gurl!  My blog will be directly through USC's study abroad website, but naturally it must all be PG rated.  Since I'm such a bonafied badass, I figured I'd start up another blog at the same time.  While in Ireland, everything will be almost synched up....except I'll put some more juicy details up on this blog.  Also, in the meantime, you can catch all my other summer mishaps on this one too!  Go ahead, melt your faces off with excitement, cause I know for sure that I cannot wait!! Buckle up, this is gonna be one crazy summer :-)
